In this role you will evaluate machinery condition based on rotordynamic analysis and correlation of operational data and customer info. You will utilize Bently Nevada hardware and software to collect and analyze machinery health and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Essential ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing machinery problems based upon: vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
Reacting to customer required travel in a timely manner, while bringing all required diagnostic equipment
Completing documentation of findings / recommendations
Engaging in professional communications with customers and other team members
Determining and directing placement of Balance weights
Performing Asset Management / Reliability Service Studies
Preparing timely Work Order requests, Quick Quotes and Invoicing packages
Assessing job site Safety
Understanding T&C commitments
Installing transducers and configuring monitoring systems
Completing alignment - Reverse Dial, Laser, Optical Methodologies
Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of vibration analysis experience
Minimum 10 years of industry (energy and/or oil & gas) experience)
Available for extensive travel, up to 70%, and significant over-time (paid)
Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport)

Project Management Skills
Strong computer skills using MS Office software
Mechanical trouble shooting skills. "Hands-on approach"
Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding mechanical prints
Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems
Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems
Knowledge of or experience with AT LEAST one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotordynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing and alignment
Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and services
Basic familiarity with computer network systems
Black Belt or Green Belt Certified (GE employees only)
