Domain is looking to hire Concierge team members that are highly motivated, creative, detail-oriented, and organized in our South Market District in downtown New Orleans. This individual will serve as the primary point for residents and should be passionate about the city of the New Orleans and enhancing the local community. This position is highly visible and requires a very high attention to detail and accuracy.

Concierge Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and all activity in front lobby; maintain visitor and vendor logs
  • Manage package room – Log, organize and distribute packages
  • Document and communicate incidents/accidents at property to management staff
  • Be readily available to resolve any problem or dissatisfaction of the resident, within company policy
  • Take maintenance requests, if needed
  • Hand out staff business cards and gather information for staff follow up (after office hours only)
  • Provide access to the community for resident’s guest, deliveries, and other special requests from management and/or residents with prior written approval
  • Provide firsthand knowledge of the local area and our community to make recommendations about activities, local businesses, and services
  • Accommodate residents with lifestyle services that tailor to their needs like: grocery, flower and furniture deliveries, utility assistance, transportation services, dinner reservations, dry cleaning, house cleaning, car washing, etc.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and promoting resident social events

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ability to multi-task and do several things with constant interruptions
  • Must be very organized and maintain a clean perception in appearance and work station.
  • Self-motivator
  • Knowledge of the city of New Orleans; knowledge of the local transportation options to include the street car, city bus and car share system
  • Computer proficiency included but not limited to Microsoft Office
