Our OTR Drivers safely operate heavy-duty hazardous waste vehicles (i.e. roll-off, end dump, tanker, flat bed, van trailer) to perform assigned duties within or dedicated to customer facility.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Completes paperwork to properly document work performed.
May provide support or direction to less experienced drivers.
Wears required personal protective equipment.
Participates and cooperates in safety process, including following written procedures, attending required training and scheduled meetings.
Immediately reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries or property damage to supervisor.
Follows Environmental and Quality Management System (ISO 14001/9001)
policy, procedures, and operational controls related to job responsibilities.
Maintains compliance with applicable environmental, safety and transportation regulations (EPA, OSHA, and DOT).
Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D, and four or more years previous experience.
Commercial Driver's License A
The CDL is a requirement; therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age.
