SUMMARY

Performs and coordinates a variety of duties as it relates to logistical shipping and receiving at a construction and equipment facility. Duties include, but not limited to loading/unloading, labeling, general maintenance, conducting inventory and other tasks as assigned.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in managing daily facility operations.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control for equipment.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors and visitors on Daily Muster List.
  • Ensure equipment moored to dockside is secure and lights are visible to marine traffic.
  • Daily inspection and record keeping of equipment at facility.
  • Assist Small Boat Manager with repairs and services.
  • Loading and unloading trucks with forklift.
  • Assisting Crane Operator with rigging and unloading of trucks and equipment.
  • Gathering, preparing, shipping, receiving and administration of packages and equipment for facility.
  • Acknowledging receipt of goods in the purchase order database.
  • Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Labeling packages and equipment for inventory storage or will call.
  • Forwarding requisition for shipping materials to department supervisor for approval.
  • Filling out bills of lading and administrative forms required by freight carriers
  • Issuing repair orders to vendors and tracking project lead times.
  • General maintenance and housekeeping; sweeping, mopping, washing equipment and emptying trash cans.
  • Maintaining work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
  • Pickup and deliveries to and from our suppliers.
  • Maintain facility's maintenance and service schedule.
  • Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment.
